about us

Jim and Pam Sparks, who have 30 years of expertise in the HVAC industry here in Utah, started Pleasant Creek Heating & Air in 2017.

Together they have built a company focused on providing quality HVAC services to their customers.

Any good HVAC technician will tell you that the type of system you purchase to install in your home is important. But the person doing the work is even more so.  It’s crucial that when you are spending a large amount of money on a heating and air system that you get a technician who can install it right.  Our technicians are fully certified in NATE, BPI, and RMGA*.

Jim has hired and trained each of our technicians to meet the same high quality standards he has withheld through his 35+ year career.

Frequently asked questions

  • When should I run my Air Conditioning?
It is safe to start running your AC when the outside temperature has reached 68 degrees for more than a couple of days in a row. Do not run your AC when the temperature is below 65 degrees outside - this will damage the unit.
  • How low can I run my AC?
In general we suggest setting your thermostat to 72 degrees during the day, this will help maximize the efficiency of your system. Do not set the temperature on your thermostat to below 70 degrees. This will overtax your system.
  • How often do I need to change my filter?
Change the filters monthly. An HVAC system needs to have good airflow to maintain proper functionality. Air cannot move through a dirty filter.
